We have maintained an education partnership with the Robert-Bosch-Schule in Ulm in the context of the educational network school / economy of the IHK Ulm since October 2017.We successfully train around 50 Daimler TSS academees every year. With the aim to contin-ue to attract IT-enthusiastic young people to our vocational training, we are happy to add with this official education partnership an important component to our offer of professional orientation for students. Proposals such as internships, class visits, and joint projects will bring school and our working world even closer together in the future.
The goal of education partnerships is to support students in relating learning at school to learning in and for work. In view of the demographic change, companies are also benefiting from the improvement in the job orientation and the competence to choose a profession of school leavers. In the IHK region Ulm an average of more than 14,000 professionals will be missing each year between 2017 and 2030. The shortage will increase due to demographics especially as from 2020. The shortage of academics will be around 1,300 people. Thus, the bigger part of the skills shortage is due to non-academic workforce. The chances of pursuing a career based on a vocational training will be even better in the future than they already are. (Source IHK Ulm)
